Volunteer Befrienders provide telephone or face to face support for lonely/isolated residents of Hartlepool who live alone, building their confidence to access social groups and get out and about in the community.

Supporting Walk Leaders at Walking Groups around Teesside and support attendees. Once experienced you may be asked to Lead Walks yourself and/or undertake 1-1 Sessions with service users.

Volunteering Hours and Certificates
Don’t forget to add your hours on Volun-tees to enable us to present you with your Volunteering Award. If you are Graduating this year, please email to receive your award – even if you have not added any more hours this academic year. We are unfortunately unable to present these in person, but hope to do so at our Volun-cheers awards next year.
